Tokelau is a dependent territory of New Zealand consisting of three tropical coral atolls. It is located in the southern Pacific Ocean. The flag of Tokelau includes an abstract depiction of Polynesian canoe colored yellow featuring the Southern Cross placed in the hoist-side of the flag. The background of the flag is blue. The flag was adopted in 2009.
