Guadeloupe has the status of an overseas region of France. It is located in the Leeward Islands, the eastern part of the Caribbean. The flag of Guadeloupe is the flag of France; the country has no other official flag. However, sometimes Guadeloupeans use the region’s logo as an unofficial regional version of the flag.
