Bonaire is an island of the Leeward Antilles located in the Caribbean. It is also part of the Caribbean Netherlands, so-called BES islands. The flag of Bonaire includes one blue triangle that covers the lower right corner, one white triangle on the opposite side, and a smaller yellow triangle that overlaps the white triangle making it look like a band. The flag was adopted in 1981.
