Dominica is the northernmost of the Windward Islands located in the Caribbean. The Windward Islands, in their turn, constitute part of Lesser Antilles. The flag of Dominica includes a cross separating it into four equal parts and the national emblem with the Dominican amazon parrot and 10 green classic stars on it. The cross is colored yellow, black, and white, the background is colored green.
