The national flag of Estonia adopted in 1990 represents a horizontal tricolor and contains blue, black, and white stripes (moving from top to bottom). The flag’s colors are symbolic: black color stands for the soil and the fate of Estonians marked by numerous worries, the blue color symbolizes the sky and white color stands for commitment, purity, and hard work.
