The flag of Germany represents a horizontal triband with bands colored the following way: black, red, and gold. These colors have been national German colors for many centuries, however, the current version of the flag was adopted in 1949. Colors used on the flag represent German unity and freedom.

- Antistatic, soft, UV resistant, fade resistant, wind and moisture resistant.
- Translucent fabric with a mirrored image on the back.
- Photographic quality sublimation printing.
- Outer edges hemmed and double-stitched.
- The hoist is reinforced with corsage tape, with a loop at the top and the bottom.
