Greenland has the status of an autonomous constituent country of Denmark. The flag of Greenland includes a two-color circle placed in the middle in relation to the vertical axis and slightly shifted to the left. The background of the flag is also two-color and consists of two bands: a red band and a white band. The circle is also red and white and its coloring is counterchanged against the coloring of the bands. The flag was adopted in 1985.
