Jersey is one of the Channel Islands and represents a Crown dependency. The flag of Jersey is a Saint Andrew's Cross featuring a "Plantagenet crown". The latter element includes a red shield with three golden lions passant arranged above each other and a golden crown covering the shield. The flag was adopted in 1981.
