The flag of Lithuania is a tricolor that includes horizontal stripes of the following colors (top-to-bottom): yellow, green and red. The colors of the flag are symbolic: red color stands for the blood and the bravery; green color symbolizes liberty, hope, the forests and the countryside; yellow color is used to represent the sun and prosperity.
