The Turks and Caicos Islands represents a British Overseas Territory. These two groups of islands constitute part of the Lucayan Archipelago situated north of the Caribbean Basin. The flag of the Turks and Caicos Islands has a British Blue Ensign design. The Union Jack is placed in the canton, the national coat of arms is placed in the fly. The coat of arms consists of three elements: a lobster, a shell and a cactus on the yellow background of the shield.
