Ukraine is an Eastern European country. It borders the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. The flag of Ukraine consists of two equal horizontal bands colored blue (top) and yellow (bottom). Many public buildings in Ukraine may also use vertical flags besides or instead of the horizontal model which is more common. The flag was adopted in 1992.
